The Exhibition

The solo exhibition will showcase 40 paintings from Melaka & George Town by veteran woman artist Koh Shim Luen. The exhibition also intended to raise operation funds for the Penang Heritage Trust. 20% of the sales proceeds will be donated to PHT.

This is part of CSR effort by Atelier Art Space, Petaling Jaya. Languages: English and Mandarin.

Open to the public, free admission.

The Talk

In conjunction with the opening of the exhibition, Ms Lim Gaik Siang, Hon Treasurer of the Penang Heritage Trust will give a talk on “Appreciation of Straits Shophouses” at 3.00pm. Language: Mandarin.

The Artist

The artist Koh Shim Luen was born in Ipoh Perak and studied at Universiti Sains Malaysia, graduating with a BA Hons in Fine Art. She has worked as a professional art educator and also a freelance Chinese writer for art, literature and social subjects. She has had six solo exhibitions and also participated in international exhibitions.
