PHT Talks return with a new topic on “Tropical Art Deco, A Neglected Architectural Canon” by Alex J. Koenig. A visit to New York in the seventies triggered Alex’s general interest in the Art Deco style. However, during a revisit to Penang in 2012, he went looking for a Florida style villa along the former Northam Road, only to find out that it had been diminished. Come join us to find out more of the Art Deco style in Penang and Ipoh.
